Fcnb Newport News -midland Credit Mgmt reported paid off account to midland credit mgmt,credit limit was $600 reported $6,121 San Diego, California

i opened an account with newport news august 2000,the credit card limit was $600. i purchase $200 dollars clothes, made monthly payments, iordered more items, i continue to make payments. july 2001 my car was stolen. i called & reported it, my card was suspended. i paid the account off, never purchase anything else.

1 year i received a collection notice from aagency. i had this fraudently amount removed from my credit report. in february 2008 midland credit mgmt started to harass me they were reporting 6,000. i do not owe this money .i have never ordered anything else from newport news or spiegel,
