First Omni Mortgage Company TMG real estate services refuses to pay a former employee on commisions earned. Louisville , Kentucky

This is another shady mortgage company. I have been in the industry for years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had working in the industry. They promoted Buy, or Die sales tactics in meetings, and we were told if we couldnt get a commitment from a client to pay for an appraisal in 3 days that we were to turn down the files. Future employees be wary, you will put in countless hours and wont be paid for them, you will be micro managed down to your bathroom breaks . Future customers, if your looking for a good mortgage company, try your current bank, they can do it with far fewer costs and in a lot less time.

Highly Irritating

As an employee of First Omni and a former colleague of the author, I find myself extremely irritated and bewildered regarding this complaint. First, I have been employee of First Omni for a little over a year, but have been in the mortgage business for over six years. In fact, I was a fellow employee of the author at another mortgage company prior to First Omni and after several months of prodding by the author, I referred/endorsed him for employment with First Omni. Despite his poor attendance and lack of professionalism with our previous employer, I was assured by the author that his situation had improved and that he was committed to succeeding in the highly demanding position. I was promised that i would not regret giving him my endorsement that would prvide a much needed source of income for the author.
Again, he had been "let go" by our previous employer due to habitual absences and a complete disregard for company policy/procedure, yet was adamant that he had seen the error of his ways. Unfortunately, his brief employment with First Omni was almost immediately riddled with absenses, tardiness, and a blatant lack of respect for authority/management. After numerous warnings, he was terminated. This posting is an obvious attempt at retaliation to a sound judgement call meant to preserve an impeccable reputation of excellent customer service.
After a year of employment with First Omni, I can honestly say that it is one of the few remaining mortgage companies that focuses on an ever fleeting mentality to provide efficient and honest service. First Omni would never risk jeapordizing a customer's short or long term well-being by retaining a less than exemplary loan originator.
As for the "buy or die" sales tactics- give any one of our highly qualified originators a mere five minutes of your time to experience our informative and low pressure approach combined with highly competitive rates and closing costs. I'm sure you will be able to tell within minutes that this posting is completely meritless, as is it's author.
