FutureGen Capital Lawrence Schmidt, Mike Spirovski Where is my friends money? Washington, District of Columbia
*UPDATE Employee: Dispute to the report
My friend invested money with a company, FutureGen Capital. She was assured that her investment was safe with tax liens and received a nice return of 12%. Her representative, Mike Spirovski, told her tax liens are the most conservative way to invest money.
The problem is she has needed funds for a real estate closing and can't get her money back. Has anyone else had this problem? Mike claims their CEO, Lawrence Schmidt, handles all wires and he has messed up the wires and mixed up account numbers. It seems like one excuse after another. I feel bad for her, but want to see if anyone else has had this experience before going to authorities.
Any ideas?

Dispute to the report
AUTHOR: Lawrence - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, May 16, 2012
To the person that filed this report. If this is a legit report, please feel free to contact myself Lawrence Schmidt, President of FutureGen Capital. Please have your friend contact me directly and if there is an issue we will resolve. I just went through our data base and their is currently no investor due a payment other than one due for a payment next Wednesday.
We have had no such case of an investor not being paid at the end of their term or their interest payments. Even investors that have made a request for an early close out or part of their principal returned have had been paid.
