I sent in a check to join the co-op on April 17, hoping for lower prices on propane for pool heat. Five weeks later, no propane, just a survey call. When informed it would be at least two more weeks before a propane delivery, I cancelled the order. The co-op refuses to refund my membership fee, even though they have done nothing to earn it. The day I cancelled at the co-op, I called (((competitor's name redscted))). Two days later, I had a tank installed with propane in it. And so far, lovely people to do business with.

Bob, our refund policy is posted on our web site. Sorry we couldn't keep you as a member. There are other benifits to being a Co-op member outside of discount propane you can take advantage of. When you're responcible for over 15,000 members, it's hard to keep everyone happy, but we do the best we can, Good luck with your fuel supplier. galwayco-op.com/refund-policy.htm

Really Bob?

As I grew older I realized there are alway two sides to every story. I'm going on my third year as a co-op customer. They have been great. I did see on their web site that they have a no refund policy.
