Gateway warrenty is a joke Nationwide

i had a 3 year warrenty on my laptop i bought from gateway. after 2 and a half years i sent it off for repairs. after they kept it for 2 weeks they called me to tell me it would cost 500.00 for repairs. my lcd screen it deveopled a leak an went on my hard drive that caused my hard drive to not work. this company sucks will not buy another gateway or recomend them to anyone. what is warrenty good for if they will not stand behind there product.

I wonder what parts are covered since they would not cover my screen or harddrive.
Please do not get ripped off from gareway.There customer service sucks when you finally get them on the phone after at least a 45 minute wait
