Gourmet Magazine Slamming How I received an email bill for a subscription I never wanted. New York New York

I received an email today about a magazine subscription. I was invoiced on this email. It was for Gourmet magazine. I never subscribe to magazines, and only read them very occasionally. Do NOT pay this if they send you something like this. According to the website they had already "mailed my first issue" and now I owed for the subscription.

Be very careful with magazines that try to slam you like this. I worry about the older individuals out there that blindly pay things like this that come through. This is a scam and is "slamming" the consumer. it is illegal.

I have contacted the magazine, but be careful everyone. Research carefully if anyone has actually requested the magazine before blindly paying for a magazine subscription over the internet.
