Guru.com claims the contractors are all experienced. I hired a ghost writer who riped me off 1700.00 for a book proposal. she had no clue how to do a fiction book proposal, and even when i told her, she would not listen. she was late by 4 months. i called guru.com and they told me that was nothing they could do. rip off

RIDICULOUS PERSON & DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER LAWSUIT TO ENSUE

AUTHOR: Jane MacLean Craig - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, November 08, 2012

This individual comes from a long history of mental illness and wanted to write about such, which I tried my best to accommodate.  However, when her proposal failed to sell, she believed that I and the universe had conspired against her and I have no recourse but to take legal action to protect my long (25 year) and stellar reputation in the publishing industry.

COMPLETELY INACCURATE REPORTING OF JANE MACLEAN CRAIG

AUTHOR: Jane MacLean Craig - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, November 08, 2012

This report is completely inaccurate.  Not only have my book proposals been used at several national writers' conventions as an example of how to write a winning one, but a number of them have been sold to such houses as WARNER BOOKS and RANDOM HOUSE, resulting in the publication of very successful books. The problem, you see, lies in the fact, that everyone and his brother thinks they have the best idea of the next great American novel...the best thing since sliced bread.  The truth is, this simply isn't the case.  Most frequently, these subjects require a great deal of massaging and work to bring them up to submission level material; hence time is a difficult thing to gage at the on-set.

However, AND THIS IS THE CRUX OF THE MATTER, when their great ideas fail to sell to a publisher, they blame the proposal and the writer thereof.

Jane MacLean Craig
