Beware all models IMTM.net is a classic scam they basically take free postings from Craigslist.org and post them on their website and charge $2.00 to view each casting. Which basically means you could go on craigslist.org and look at 20 castings for FREE or you could pay these people $40. When I called the office I spoke to a man he did not give his name but said he had NY connections but yet when I called the jobs they were still selling were from August and I called November 3,2005.
Dont give this company a dime they are just out to cash in on your dreams!

IMTM IS a rip off, here's what they tried to pull with me.

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, November 24, 2007

I heard of this IMTM place on the south side of Pittsburgh quite a while back, it's been over a year.

Well, as a future actor, I thought it'd be good to try with them and see what happened.

Called, made my appointment to meet the boss of the place, and went in.

He gave me his smooth speech, took some photos of me, said he liked what he saw, and he could do this and that for me, photographers were coming in soon, all that BS.

BUT - there was only one small detail that had to be taken care of first. I had to pay them sone MONEY! I forget how much it was, it was $500 or $800, something like that.

And only AFTER I PAID THEM THE MONEY would all these great things be possible for me. Only after they had my money could I proceed.

Well, I had been on the message boards at imdb.com (Internet Movie DataBase), and had been reading things from other actors for quite a while. RULE #1 in the business - a legitimate agency never charges an up front fee.

The Talent Group in Pittsburgh is a legit agency, and they charge no money up front.

Well, knowing all this, I decided to string IMTM along for a while, give them back some of their BS. I told them I had a vehicle that was going to be sold soon, and then I'd bring in the cash and we'd be set.

I also asked, since this was about to happen, could I get started ahead of time? They said no, unfortunately they needed the money FIRST.

So I'd steer way clear of IMTM.

And the owner of the place knows it's a flat out LIE if he tries I'm wrong about this.

WHO ARE YOU?

AUTHOR: Scott - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 22, 2007

Scott is up to what again? Finding models jobs? This past month(May, 2007) I booked 222 modeling jobs in 9 different states. I had models on posters, television, films and magazines. My models did promotions for Heinekin,. Axe, Dove, Moet, and many more.
I currently represent over 1,7000 models. None of them are in Lake Placid. Only a small amount of them are male. So I can only assume that you are using a fake name and city. If you can come to a public forum and make a silly little comment about me you should at least have the courtesy to say whom you really are.

I have rejected approximately 5,000 potential models in my career. You are probably one of them. Every person that has said things about me on this website was someone I chose not to represent or their facts are wrong. They come on here anonymously and tell lies about the agency and about me. You are all cowards with such low self-esteem you deny your own identity. That is pathetic. At least I have the courage to say who I am. I'll even invite you to call me at 412-212-1382 to discuss any problems you have with the agency or myself.
That being said I wish you the best in your modeling career.

IMTM is not a scam

AUTHOR: Liz - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 09, 2006

IMTM, is definatly not a scam. I have been through my fair share of agencies that rip you off, and this definately isn't one of them. My mom did her research before I signed anything, and before I gave them a dime. Yeah, you pay $1500.00 but that's for an unlimited amount of photo shoots, for howeevr long your with them. If got four photo shoots, thats already around $2400.00. Why would I want to pay that when I can just get unlimited for one set fee. Now, I have been signed to many other agencies that were rip offs, and never got a job. But, within one month of being signed with IMTM, I got my first job. I know I really don't appriciate people hatin on IMTM when in all actuality they know nothing about what they do, aside from what they have read.

Sincerely,

I am a very proud model from International Model and Talent Managment. I work very hard and put 100% into what I do. Modeling used to be a dream of mine...but now its so much more than that. Over the summer, because of IMTM i lived in NYC...which was an amazing experience. I had the opportunity to work on many New York runways. I met with some wonderful people and made awesome connections. I am going back to New York at the end of the month to live there. In addition to working in New York, i also get alot of work here in Pittsburgh. This includes runway shows, magazine covers, ads for local magazines, local tv shows, and also alot of promo work. Its enough to pay the bills and take care of my needs. If it wasnt for IMTM i wouldnt have the courage, the confidence, or even the support i have now. Scott is so much more than just my agent. Hey is my friend. He's there for me when i need him...in my personal life and my professional life. So before anyone counts IMTM out...find out the real truth. IMTM is a huge part of my life, and in the near future when i am very successful with modeling and acting...i will owe it all to IMTM. I am very knowledgable when it comes to the industry. I am not a naieve young girl, I am very intelligent and alert. So please dont judge me and assume other. IMTM does not take advantage of the girls and guys here. They reach out a hand and give the kids here a chance to live their dreams. Thats exactly what im doing now. Infact so is 3 of my close girlfriends that model here. One is in LA working hard, the other in Miami and the other in New York. So the fact is you can say what you want about IMTM but as long as they keep doing what they are doing, and they affect peoples lives the way they affected mine, they will be around for a very long time. IMTM is a great agency to be a part of. I recommend it to any aspiring dreamer...make your dream happen.

In conclusion i have to say that im sorry you feel this way about this agency because you truly dont know what your missing...

sincerly...

First off let me address some facts it is illegal in the state of Pennsylvania for an agency to collect any upfront fees unless first approved by the state and listed on your schedule of fees which you do not do I know this because I called Linda at the Department of Labor and Industry in Harrisburg. So the fact that your models have been paying to shoot with these photographers and payments have been going through you that is illegal each subject to a fine of up to $500, also the fact that you have been charging $2.00 per casting is also illegal and subject to the same fine. As far as you insulting my knowledge of the industy my husband owned a SAG franchised agency in New York city for the last 25 years, and I am a SAG actress, you still have not addressed the point which is why are you charging models to access your castings that are expired that you get for free off craigslist what agency with real contacts would be taking castings from craigslist then selling them? As for one Hollywood agent visiting your office in the entire year that is not something to brag about but instead pretty sad that there has only been one person to come see your talent all year. If you actually have 34 national contracts signed you should post the tearsheets on your site. Or are you referring to low level promotional modeling ( handing out Kit Kats at the supermarket.) I hope you still do not think that I do not have knowledge of the industry. The truth is your company is operating a SCAM, and you have now opened a can of worms that you are not going to be able to close. I am glad that I have been able to expose your company it is sad when guys like you run a so called agency and victimize all these aspiring girls that dont know anything about the business.
Remember a real agency makes their money off commissions not selling things REMEMBER MODELS IT IS ILLEGAL FOR AN AGENCY TO MAKE YOU PAY ANY MONEY.

READ THE TRUTH ABOUT INTERNATIONAL MODEL AND TALENT MANAGEMENT

AUTHOR: Scott - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, December 22, 2005

By the comments of Dinnia it is obvious she has no idea how IMTM functions. We utilize numerous resources for our auditions. As a licensed agency we are eligable to receive commissions from the assignments we book. The auditions we post online are non commissionable jobs that companies send to us. It is not uncommon for a company looking to fill numerous promotional positions to email us the audition as well as many other sources. All of our contracted models have unlimited access to these auditions. Dinnia is not with our agency and therefore would of had to pay to see the audition we posted. Our records indicate she never purchased an audition from us which makes me question her information and motives.

International Model and Talent Models track record speaks for itself. We have signed 34 national contracts this year from our offices in Pittsburgh , PA. Our models have unlimited photo sessions with the best photographers from our region and New York. We just had a Hollywood agent interviewing potential actors last weekend at our offices. We do our job.

International Model and Talent Management has decided to no longer provide public access to our auditions. We do not people like Dinnia with limited knowledge of our company and the industry in general to damage the our name or reputation. We wish Dinnia the best in the rest of her modeling career. Feel free to contact me directly at www.scott@imtm.net
