I had a weekly contract with JAG for landscaping. After the hurricane Irma they gave me a quote to cut a tree down, haul away and clean up.  I paid them in front and certainly that was my mistake. They cut the tree did the trimming and left all debris and piles in my yard in front of my house. They told me that if the city does not pick up it they will come to haul away. After 3 weeks when I called them back to haul away as the city was not coming, and the answer was yes but we will charge you another $250.

I emailed then and gave Javier one week to complete his job. He never called me back as he was supposed to do in his last email. Now, I am writing my reviews and then I will go to small claim court to try to get a refund. A hurricane sweeping through your city can bring out the worst in people, especially when they see the disaster as an opportunity to make some easy money. Javier Garcia is part of them. My neighbors told me: Never pay for tree removal or pruning until the job is complete to your satisfaction. When you pay up front companies may take your money and never return to complete the job.

But fortunately we have a justice system in our country and I have decided to go to Small claims court designed to resolve this dispute quickly and inexpensively.

I have saved the email for records to show to others that this business is very unprofessional and dishonest.
