*UPDATE EX-employee responds: promises of pay
It has been months and months that this company has owed me hundreds of dollars and I've yet to receive. If you value your employees you take care of them....This company looks at people as though they were cattle. Just another number. The word "replace" is used on a regular basis referring to employees. I learned a lot, but wasted more time and money than I should have. 75% of my pay checks going right back into my gas tank in able to perform the daily duties of this company. I NEED that money that I've proven I earned.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
promises of pay
AUTHOR: g_schultz11 - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, April 24, 2012
I was an employee in the Cleveland area. When interviewed by Alex Talerico, he gave me two options:
1) straight commission, 2) base + 25% of commission. ' Base ' means pay separate from sales, as most of us know. It takes time to learn how to sell something, and hours of time and gallons of gasoline are part of that learning curve. So, some kind of base pay for these costs is very reasonable.
When I stated that I would take the second option, and why I needed it, it was stated very clearly and clearly understood. Mr. Talerico is an intelligent man. He didn't have to hire me, but clearly did with this understanding.
But when pay day for that first week arrived, he told me there would be no pay because there weren't enough sales to warrant ' base pay '.
In short, I was lied to by this employer. While I promptly quit, I am out two weeks of hard work, gallons of gas, study time, training and more. I'm now pursuing legal recourse on this.
I am telling everyone I know and come across to avoid this company and their deceptive practices.
