*REBUTTAL Owner of company: Hi Amanda, how about the truth.
I went to this company to get help with my mortgage company. They said they would help negotiate my behind payments. I paid them $2290 for their service, but lost my job the following week, so I didn't qualify for there program anymore, and they wouldn't give me back my money. They didn't even contact my mortgage company. And my house was eventually foreclosed!!!!
Also, there website said money back gaurantee...They still wouldn't give me back my money...
They have since taken off the MONEY BACK saying on their website, however, I did print a copy of it for proof! I am still trying to get that $2290 back from July 2007!

Holy cow where should I start. When you initially called us your hardship was a loss of your job and you had never been behind in the past however you had refinance twice. At the time you enrolled our help you told us you were currently working and could afford the payments. You also told Cord that you received 30,000 every six months from farmland that you had that's 60K a year with no job. Most people don't make that a year and that's the income you asked him not to include. Looks like you were trying to deceive your lender.
So on June 5th 2007 we did an e-check with you sent you all of the docs that you needed to sign and you sent them back right away. We sent you to a negotiator on June 6th at 8:22am, this is where all of the problems started, let's go through the notes on the file. Lisa called you at 4:25pm on that same day and left a voice mail she also faxed the auth over to your lender then called to get your loan assigned to one of their negotiators. Lisa called you again on the 7th at 2:37pm to review your information and let you know what to fax her. You told her you would fax it on the 8th. There were several messages left for you without any call back until the 13th of June when you told Lisa you would fax the needed information soon.
June 14th Lisa received incomplete docs from you she spoke to you and you told her you would send them the next day. June 18th your check was returned to us NSF, yes it bounced. Cord called you to let you know and you repaid. At this point Lisa is still stalling the lender waiting for income verification. On June 26th Lisa left you a voice mail concerned that your sale date was approaching and she still needed the income verification. You finally called on July 2nd at 11:27am to tell her that you had lost your job and that is why you haven't been sending the income verification. But what about the 60K per year that was enough to pay the mortgage.
At that point you asked for a refund two days before your sale date. I am sorry that you feel you deserve a refund but it was due to you unwillingness to act that caused you to lose your home. If you would have let us use the other income we would have and could have got you a deal and you would still be in your home today. We keep very god notes Amanda so when and if you respond to this remember your call was also recorded.
