Liberty Tax Money Card Money Card a scam RAL product a Scam Company Scam Worthington Minnesota
*General Comment: Nothing was wrong with the card
Went to Liberty Tax Service in Worthington, MN were I filed my taxes got the RAL product and the Debit card on Friday. I registered the card online at libertymoneycard.com and I then got a message next time I logged in telling me that they could not verify my information and need to call customer service. I called five times now never can get to a customer service agent and now I am locked out of my account. My RAL product 24-48 hours still not in my account. When I went to HR Block in 2006 I got my card and my money was on it next day. I will never use Liberty Crap again.

Nothing was wrong with the card

You were most likely offered the preactivated netspend card. Funds are NOT loaded on the card until your refund is deposited by the bank you applied with such as SBBT. If the money is not on it within 24-48 hrs, you will recieve a phone call as the bank also send a letter of refusal mailed to your house within the week as well. Then your money is on your card 10-14 days later when the IRS processes it for that cycle and releases the money on your card. The good thing about it is you had more money on your card than expected because your RAL fee was not charged since the loan was not approved. Hope you got everything worked out. You have a right to request when denied for a loan, the reason why, if you write to the bank in response to your decline letter by law. When you apply for a RAL, it clearly states it is applying you for a loan, if declined, you will have to wait for the IRS to pay to them to pay to you.
