I authorized shipping charges for a "free sample" of Altovis and they are now debiting the "managed care" charges of $70. Called my bank and we will file a dispute as soon as charges clear. I was told by some smart-aleck supervisor that I should have read the entire page, but when you order the free sample on the website, it doesn't appear to be necessary to read anything. Whoops...I was wrong!!!!

my bank credited me the $70

My bank must have agreed that I was ripped off because they credited me the $70 I was charged by these scammers.

Print a Copy of ANY ONLINE ORDER - ESPECIALLY "FREE" OFFERS

AUTHOR: Jeffrey - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 29, 2004

I have learned (the hard way) to always print a copy of any order I place online (especially "free" offers). I use Adobe Acrobat to print a soft copy (saved on hard drive) instead of printing it on my printer, so I don't lose any of my orders.

If there is ever a dispute, I can just pull up the order on my computer. This is also good for double checking any "hidden" information (stuff you won't automatically notice) after you have placed your order.

Good to help you avoid this problem in the future. By the way, I also ordered the "free" sample of Altovis, and even though I printed a copy of the order, I wouldn't have known about the $70.00/month Managed Care charges if my wife had not read the information which came with the shipment.
Hope this helps.
