Lumosity.com are bunch of thieves. they got my friend's money(took the credit card info and all other information and after the transaction was done, and complete) when he started to use the software, she got an error msg saying that her device is not supported. she tried to get customer support, no body answerd the customer support line.
Also my wife registered to test the software as they advertise for a month in a free basis, she was only able to use it for one day. But after that they are doing heavy marketing to sell her the subscription.
in summary if you are interested in brain teaser software look somewhere else. Lumosity are bunch of thieves.

How??

How are they a ripoff. It sounds like your friend just didn't have a supported device and that is all I see. They offer a service and they want payment, not a ripoff.
