Main Street Merchant Processing Represeative Jacki Tried spamming us by deceptive practices. Representative named Jackie called and said she was from our current processor (which is called MainStream) and that she needed us to call her back due to overcharges on our June and July 2018 statements and monies owed to her by her processor she was representing.  We were told that our current processor called and they needed our June and July 2018 statements to correct overages charges that could be refunded to us by our processor (who they were pretending to be). Once Jackie left the message to call her at 'our current processor’, I contacted my local salesperson, who I deal with for everything.

Of course, she knew it wasn’t their phone number, nor did they have anyone internally named Jackie. My current company has a similar name but it was also interesting the knew information on our banking etc. So we called the number and realized it was this other company 'Mainstreet’ and when you hit option 1, you go into a voicemail where it says consultants are busy analyzing statements.

So our guess is there are several merchants falling prey to this scam. I hope this helps someone else. I’m glad I talked to my liver cal rep and have that relationship with her. Otherwise, I can see how people could fall for these scams. Sam
