My self and about 8 friends rented a limo on new years and decided to go to Martins Downtown. We actually had lunch there and the nice waitress told us what was going on at martins Downtown later that night.

We arrived in the limo vehicle and parked in the front of Martins downtown. Two guys staggered out of the bar and came up to the limo and tried to force their way in. In the commotion I was pushed by one of these guys (I am a girl) and my husband quickly pushed him out of our vehicle and the police arrived.

The police agreed with us and said we were right to push them out of our vehicle and they told us to have a nice night. After the attempted limo jacking, we proceeded in to martins only to be told we were not allowed in to the establishment because we started trouble?

We were the victims! They over served to young guys that started messing with us and that is all that happened really.. We asked to speak to Jason Martin the owner but he would not come over so he sent Daniel Mock who has a reputation for being rude, he lived up to his reputation. He was a very rude person that should not represent any business. I understand if they did not want us to come in, I simply wanted to explain what happened outside, I do have lunch there 4 times a week and go there 5 times a month for events.

The guy Daniel Mock put his hands on me and was very rude. The bouncer (a smaller black gentleman was very nice and helpful). This guy Daniel mock has been rude to use several times in the past and we over look it but calling us names, and acting like were some uneducated thugs, in front of other patrons is way out of line.

Martins Downtown should consider firing this manager for being so rude to multiple repeat customers. I will never go back to martins downtown. There are others in the community taking steps to expose the problems with  martins also.

They should also be investigated by the ABC for letting underage drinking take place which I have witnessed. They over serve people and I have seen people literally have to be carried out of this bar for drinking way way too much.

The biggest problem with Martins Downtown Roanoke is the management and specifically the manager Daniel Mock who claimed he owned the place. There are a lot details about what happened that night but the main point it, Martins was wrong and the manager Daniel Mock did not do his job right.
