Matthew Belcher is a construction man who is preying on the Jewish Frum Community. He falsely advertises people who have addiction and their families with the intent to charge high prices for services he is not qualified to give. He has charges pending for drug possession and needle possession in April. Oasis shut him down and banned him from operating. He's at it again and falsely states he is opening up offices in Brooklyn. He isn't Certified in any capacity as an addiction counsellor by the State of NY. He isn't licensed as a business in NY. Beware!!!! He will cause more harm than good.

Someone in my family is dealing with Matthew Belcher and I would love to communicate with someone who has dealt with him. I’ve been seeing red flags for some time and would love to compare notes so I will have some corroborating facts.

Matthew Belcher is a well known con artist, heroin addict, user of people, womanizier, criminal, gambler, (he has criminal records in both Florida & New York states). You name it. He has no education in the field of addiction, anything medical or what not and has absolutely no business trying to operate as a detox/rehab facility. He will end up damaging more people then doing good. He only has experience in that he has been a heroin/pill addict himself for well over 20 yrs. What is most disturbing is how he is using his Jewish Faith to prey on those that are most vunerable.
This is all a scam to personally finance his own lifestyle which includes drugs, woman and gambling among other things. I know from personal experience that 95% of what comes out of his mouth is lies. The website & blogs are written by him and they are so poorly written. No spell check or grammar corrections, highly unprofessional. Hard to take seriously. I pray & hope that no one falls prey to Matthew Belcher's schemes and scams as this is the biggiest one yet. I hate to see an addict who clearly wants & needs help to be taken advantage of financially at the hands of Mr. Belcher. PLEASE AVOID THIS SUPPOSED RECOVERY CENTER AND THIS MAN!!!!
