Meagan Schell aka maegan or megan schell has been running a "miniature pig shelter" for shelter under the premise you can take any unwanted pig here and they will be loved and homed. Schell has actually listed an excessive amounts of donated pigs as meat, which is cruel punishment for these poor pigs and a complete scam for owners that can no longer take care of their loved pets. If you take a pig to Houston mini pig sanctuary he will surely be eaten. We need to stop meagan and her illegal practice.

This is Houston Mini Pig Network responding to Lina and Joel Haygood in reference to their bogus claim that pigs that come to our sanctuary are being sold as meat. This is a completely false accusayion made by the owners of MISO HAPPIE MINI PIG FARM that we are currently in the process of shutting down due to dead piglets, illegal shipping of excessivvely young piglets across state lines, unsanitary and unhealthy living conditions for their pigs and multiple sick, injured and dying pigs on their property.
Please feel free to come and see our set up, our pigs living conditions and our vetrinary records. Being a non-profit company, we are completely transparent and all records are available to the oublic, with exception of adopters names and addresses.
We are networked with other santcuaries and ethical breeders across the country that are capable of speaking on our behalf. This is a desperate attempt from a desperate person to discredit our organization. We are also aligned with the Humane Society of the United States and are a proud member of American Mini Pig Association, therefore, we must follow a strict code of conduct and ethics.
Also, the only photos that they are able to provide are from one members profile. We have over 15 members in our organization.
