Wow thats a lot of complaints. The BBB also says that most of the complaints are regarding fakes.

Besides having a multitude of sites and addresses that come back to storage centers they do business under MJ Wholesale, Pacific Watch Company, and Melrose Jewelers according to the BBB of Los Angelos. Oh, and they also say and I quote "Most complainants allege the company sells Rolex watches which are not authentic, use aftermarket watch parts, and reportedly experience difficulties obtaining refunds. Some complainants allege merchandise is not authentic after verification with local jewelry stores. Other complainants allege the watches received are in poor condition and not suitable for everyday use. The company generally does not respond to complaints about authenticity. The company responds to complaints about poor condition by stating that many pictures were advertised online for the customer to make an informed decision about the purchase. In one case, the company stated the customer had no evidence that the Rolex is not authentic. "

I was planning to buy a 40k dollar watch from melrosejewelers for only 6k when i thought "wow this sounds too good to be true" so I emailed them for directions to their store and offered to fly out to them and pay by whatever certified funds they required if we could verify the merchandise. Then I noticed their website doesn't list thier address. Then I found lots of articles from them in news outlets. Then I traced them back by using whois to thier registered address....a mailbox on Los Angeles California.

That's possible normal behavior so I checked for a storefront in Los Angelos and the result did not match the picture it came back to 655 S Flower St, Los Angeles, California? - (323) 851-5000?

Google maps says this is the store front but the picture when you use the street view is that of an apartment complex but it could be a storefront. Some exotic jewelers do sell this way.

I also observed a number of inconsistencies. I never received a response for to my request to fly out and meet them and buy the watch at their store. I tried twice over the past month (including today).

I'm running a criminal check on Yefim to see what pops up but this seems very strange they even created a site under a wrong spelling offering more watches but it definitely points back to their DNS servers. It's www.melrosejewellers.com... yes with two "l"s.

This is another listing they created on godaddy. I also noticed the other provider linked their domain to a number of replica sites.
