Mr Mergen continued to charge my credit card for 8 months after my child no longer wanted to do karate at his studio. I have repeatedly asked him to cancel the automatic bill pay. He stated that I must produce a certified letter and hand deliver to his studio. I would think an emailed note would be sufficient and have repeatedly requested that he stop charging me. I am a single mother of 3 children and my time is very limited. I believe that what he did was not right and should have used my emailed notes as cancelation to my sons charges.

Dear Allison,
I dont understand how we ripped you off for 8 months when we found out 2 months prior that he was no longer attending classes. when we did find out I told you the steps to follow to cancel and you did not follow them. all i got was an email saying we are theives and so on. I then told you just to drop off the letter and that would suffice which you said "Ok".
you never came in and a week before you were to be charged I sent you an email stating we had not yet received the letter and your due date was approaching, you responded again with "OK". you were charged again and then the following day you walked in and dropped off your letter.
Please explain to me how we ripped you off? all we do is work with everyone and help them anyway we can, if you visit any local martial arts studio I GUARANTEE you will NOT receive anything near the quality instruction and service we offer.
if you want me to i can post all the correspobding emails and everyone can see what was comunicated along with a copy of the binding month 2 month agreement.
