I used my debit card to renew my xbox live subscription instead of going and buying a 1 month subscription card at the store and they automatically set up recurring payments to bill me every month with out my consent plus you can not stop them unless I close my bank account........UNREAL SCAM is this legal??Beware of Xbox live and do not use or give them your credit info..

There is no rip off here.
When you sign up for Xbox live, the terms of use state quite clearly that you will be setup for a reoccurring renewal until such a time as you cancel.
As the poster above said, all you have to do is call 1-800-4my-xbox and ask to cancel.

When you sign up for the Xbox Live services, you are also signing a contract. When you read the fine print, it does state that if you choose to use your credit card to purchase their monthly online subscription, it WILL continue to automatically renew until you contact customer service at 1-800-4MYXBOX and let them know that you want them to stop. They usually won't give you any problem about it.
Remember, ALWAYS read the fine print.
