Myself, and 1 other person (that I know of) contracted with this person to do work through elance.com. Months later, both of our identities were stolen in the same manner, on the same sites. The ONLY contractor we have in common is this one contractor. Further, both of our accounts were stolen with a person using the same email and same address. I have documented proof of all transactions ranging from Ebay and Paypal fraud to guru.com fraud.
