Movement Mortgage Loan Officer Charles Miller RIP OFF Please dont even bother Rockville Maryland
*REBUTTAL Individual responds: False Claims
Movement Mortgage is a very bad Mortgage Company to deal with. I have over 600 credit score, provided them everything they required. My realor then asked for a letter as proof of the pre approval when I asked him for it, he then says in order to get that letter I would need to come up with 19k. This is my first home purchase, I dont have 19k laying around. At first it all great, the income was good, great credit etc. Now its a problem. Please dont waste you time.

#1 REBUTTAL Individual responds
False Claims
AUTHOR: Charles - (United States)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, November 16, 2017
After completing a simple google search and finding the slander that populated I wanted to ensure this is addressed and removed as it is untrue. I have helped hundreds of people refinance and purchase homes. Myself and team pride ourselves on providing an unparalleled level of customer service and integrity, making sure our customers know that we are here for them and are looking out for their best interest.
I believe the claim made was based after an initial phone coversation where I uncover more about the customers specific situation, what they are looking to accomplish, and how we can help. We do not deny or approve loans as a loan officer, we simply help set the proper expectation and walk thru options and the overall process with our clients. We do no set underwriting guidelines and do our best to relay these to our customers. Some individuals are not in a financial situation to qualify for a loan, and that is completely ok. We let them know where they stand and the next steps to get to where they need to be to proceed.
If I recall correctly, this customer wanted us to provide a preapproval letter for an offer they wanted to make prior to being in the situation for us to be able to. When we provide a preapproval letter, this is us stating that we have fully reviewed this customers situation and they should be able to qualify for a loan. It is not fair to the buyer, their Realtor, the seller and their Realtor (all parties involved with the transaction) to say that someone is preapproved for a loan, when I am not comfortable stating so based on their situation.
It sounds like I provided various financing options and tried to set proper expectations for cash needed to close for downpayment and closing costs, and this person simply did not like the numbers, so instead of trying to better understand and discuss other options, they put this false information online. I would like to have this removed as it is untrue and unprofessional making someone that works as hard as I do to help people, look as though i do not.
