I personally worked at First Cut Marketing which is the company that "publishes" Mulligan's Magazine. I put publishes in quotation marks because there is no actual Mulligan's Magazine.

I worked there for a few days last year. I saw an ad on Craigslist looking for phone salespeople. I called the number, showed up for the interview and was hired. I worked there for a couple days. Realized soon enough that Mulligan's and myself were not the right fit and was sent packing. That didn't bother me. What did bother me was that I never got paid for the time I worked. I contacted Mulligan's twice and was told by Mike Rao personally I would get my check mailed to me. It never came.

A few weeks later I talked to a former co-worker. She told me she had quit about a week after I got the boot. Then she explained why.

She'd made a sale to a small business owner who'd immediately contacted the country clubs where she informed him that issues of Mulligan's were distributed to. They'd never heard of it and he called back. She spoke to him and set out to do some research. She made a disscovery.

To the people reading this, go to Google and type in "Nationwide Publishing" AND "Unlicensed". Then go to the Sun Sentinel and Boca Tribune links. You'll see an interesting article. Note that one of the arrested ones Joshua Cooper is the same Josh who posted a rebuttal on the other Mulligan's Ripoff Report. The same one in which Mr. Rao makes a reference to "Gorilla tactics". That made me laugh. I think Mr. Rao means "guerilla".

Bottom line, the original post while not very articulate or well-written is right on the money. Mulligan's is Nationwide publishing in a different location.

MR. MIKE REO and YOUR JOSH-Partner that Theaten me still has not send me my money. WE will take you to small claims court for the amount of 25,ooo US dollars for Lawer fees and PAIN and sufffing for you business pratice of ripping your employess off and working with gangstwers and punks who think they can treaten me with the scare me verbal or in person.

You are a low life lier and scum bag who says you our in a 12 step program. You and John Hollis and your lows life investors our all going to end up out of business and in jail.

It is unfortunate that this former employee has taken upon himself to try and smear our great reputation. We take pride in the way that we treat our valued staff. Of course, from time to time things happen and parties move on. We wish this person only the best moving forward in whatever endeavor their life takes them.
