I thought this was overcharged so I contacted Mike Dickson service manager he gave me the price breakdown as follows $135.71 parts used 2.75 hrs labor for two men plus delivery $605.58 water heater $380.70 total cost $1121.99 total cost billed $1969. told me their profit is $749.01 do not use this company. They lump all charges together and do not itemize the receipt out. NO Make model or sn# on invoice. salt lake city Utah

Had Neerings Plumbing and Heating replace a 40 gallon gas water heater.  keep in mind a quote on their website is only $1400 to replace a water heater. they charged $1871. called service manager for breakdown because the invoice was not itemized it was all lumped into one price $1969 minus $98 military discount total 1871. Called and talked to Mike Dickson for price break down since there was nothing on invoice except install 40 gallon water heater did not even state they sold me one. The price break down Mike Dickson gave me $135.71 parts, $605.58 labor this included 2 men at 2.75 hours plus delivery fee, $380.79 for water heater. This is a total of $1122.08 When I questioned where the $748.92 he tells me this is his profit. But early in the conversation he stated they only make 20% profit on jobs. 20% of $1122.08 is not $748.92 this is price gouging. Do not use this company go with an individual plumber they are seriously taking advantage of the consumer. Make sure you know the cost of the labor and parts.
