 They took my song " happy birthday" published it and never paid me. I paid them around 300 dollars. They owe me big time. Plus I was a minor when this happened.

What kind of song is that? How did you claim the copyright on the song? What did they do when you offer it to them? Did you sign any contract with them? It is not easy to sue a company on copyright Do you have proof that you created it (not a delivative work)? If you think you have a case, contact a lawyer. If the lawyer knows what he/she is doing, the person should be able to tell you whether you have a case after looking at your proof. Don't go for the lawyer that does not see your proof and say 'yes' to you right away because the person is looking to take advantage of you.
