I bought a foreclose home this year and called Nicor Gas to shut-off the gas and customer service did not find my home address in thier system because it was wrong address on system.

Today I got a bill because my tenant try to change gas account to her name. it was not my fault to pay unused gas or their wrong system address that cannot find the account and also I did not receive any letters from Nicor gas to find the account number. In addition my home did not had an appliance or water heater to use the gas and I personally cap the gas pipes to reduce risk of fire. Now I have to pay the bills! Customer service cannot answer my questions at all.
