Occupancy Heroes, Inc. Noncompliance to Georgia Landlord Tenant Guidelines Charlotte, North Carolina
*Author of original report: Customer Service
This company does not comply with the Georgia Landlord Tenant guidelines. They currently manage a small set of apartments in Augusta , GA. My daughter has requested several items to be repaired in her home since Jan/Feb and nothing has been repaired. (It is now the end of March) We have made phone calls and sent a certified letter requesting items to be repaired and still nothing has been done. If they were actually decent landlords, they would make sure that good paying tenants were taken care of. Now the water has been shut off for non payment according to the Water department. DONT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Ms. Conner, President of Occupancy Heroes, contacted me after returning from another country. Once she found out what was going on, she contacted me immediately. She was very understanding in the fact about how upset I was in regards to the way my daughter has been treated. She did explain to me that the management company was responsible for leasing the property, collecting rent and scheduling the repairs but it was left to the actual owners of each property to have the bills paid each month on time. I was also notified that the owners of this particular property are having serious financial troubles and were not able to pay for the necessary repairs in a timely manner which has tied the company's hands in order to comply with the Georgia Landlord tenant Guidelines. I was told that the owners were the ones who actually have refused to pay the costs of repairing items due to their financial situation which does not have anything to do with the company itself.
I will say that at least Ms. Conner took the time to sit down, return phone calls, and explain the situation more thoroughly than the employees had done and assured me that this would be taken care of for future reference.
