ONE STOP MOVING AND/OR TWO GUYS AND A TRUCK My fiance got ripped off by this company. Lost her deposit. She was lied to. Virginia Beach Virginia

My fiance is moving out of her apartment to relocate and live with me. She got on www.craigslist.org and found 1 Stop Moving and/or Two Guys & a Truck. She callled (757) 227-8606 and spoke to a guy named "Eugene". He wanted a $50.00 deposit which she paid. She asked them if there were any other fees and/or hidden fees, and she was told no. On the day of her move, the movers showed up, but then they wanted an additional $30.00 for "Insurance Deposit" and an additional $30.00 for a "Fuel Fee Deposit".  

At that point, the movers said she would need to call the "Home Office", which is (757) 227-8606 to see if she could get the fees "waived".  She made the call and was told that the fees could not be waived. She was told this by "Eugene"...the very same guy she spoke to previously. She was lied to. She cancelled the move because of the lies she was told. She was then told that because she didn't cancel 24 hours in advance that she would not get her $50.00 deposit back. 

After I found out all of this, I contacted "Eugene" at (757) 227-8606. Talked to "Eugene" briefly. He said that she had cancelled and was no longer his customer and proceeded to hang up on me. I called back two other times and he hung up on me, despite me telling him I was going to file him with the Military's "Off Limits Establishments" List, which I'm going to do. The next call, I got his voice mail, and left him a message letting him know my plans against his crooked organization.

Do not use this company....with "Eugene's" name and/or phone number unless you want to get ripped off. He was very rude and didn't have a care in the world about what he is doing.
