I called orchard bank ripoffs and they informed me in very broken english that I was over my limit and owed them 68 dollars. I said how can that be, I'm looking at the account online and I have ten dollars on the card yet. My payment is 18.00. I might of understood almost every other word she said, very broken english and she said no you have an overlimit and late fees of 68.00. I told her to take my card and shove it up her a*s. Five years with this company and now I'm flushing there card down the toilet.

Exactly what were you looking at online?

AUTHOR: Duane - (U.S.A.)

Were you looking at your current statement or your current status? Your current statement will not necessarily be the same as the current status. It is also possible that your billing cycle just closed and it is possible that your account went over limit. If you had $10.00 left on your card at the close of your cycle and they added interest to your account, it could throw it overlimit. It would also explain why you would be charged a late fee.

You should allow at least two business days before your due date to make a payment online.
