I am 25 year experienced truck driver. About 5 months ago I applied for a job with Paschall Truck Line. When they hired me they offered me 36 cents a mile.
After working with them for 5 weeks I found out they were paying me 33 cents a mile. When I asked them why I got told that if you drive on the west of Mississippi you only get paid 33 cents to the mile. And as you all might know everything in this country is on the west of Mississippi.
There are only a few states that are not included. I am writing this report for those of you who are looking for truck driving jobs. Do not go to Paschall Truck Line.
This company has the highest CSA score in the country. You never get to meet none of the people you work for. No dispatcher, no load planners, no driver managers.
All you get to meet is your oriention teacher, the rest of the management are in a different office where drivers are not allowed. So if you are thinking of going to work for them, think again.

I remember the orientation class at PTL where the instructor said everything west of mississippi is only 33 cents a mile, but, if they said they would pay you 36cents then it should be 36cents because thats what they said. From my own experience with them and from what I've heard and read, they lie to their employees. When it comes to pay, isn't that fraud and can't they be sued? Fraud, false advertising?
