Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
My husband forgot his cell phone and used the following payphone 801-293-9806 and his cc to make a stupid local call which ended up being charged 13.16 - odd pricing. This company NEVER indicated the cost of the local phone call of 30 seconds. It cost us 13.16 to make a 30 seconds phone call.
They should be sued for being dishonest and taking advantage of the customer. They should be going to prison for their dishonesty.
this company from CA Payphonecall*mar13 800-6060599 Ca should be shut down. How the HECK are they able to get away with this??????? charging a customer $13 for a 30 second local call?

I decided to call the company - 800-6060599 - to see if I could dispute the charges. ALthough I was very angry during the conversation accusing them for ripping customers off when using a cc when making a "local" call, the gentleman explained to me that, as a customer, we should be asking the operator the cost of the call and not assume that because it is a local call, that when using a credit card, it will NOT be a .50 call but whatever fee the payphone company uses with the cc company which is 13.16 for the first 5 minutes. It is NOT .50.
The payphone company 800-6060599 was kind enough to reverse the charges. This is a 1 time option only. We will see if they do. It is supposed to take 1-2 weeks.
I will update this report when I get news.
