Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
Withheld my last paycheck just because they want to verify that i have my supervisor equipment and uniforms. Which i have told them to have him send picture of the items. They did not listen.
They are claiming they will send my check one week later after the lay date. Very untrustworthy company

Considering this employee, I'll call him SK, did not follow typical professional protocol of giving 2 weeks notice it is shocking to me that he is claiming we are unprofessional. This employee called Friday 2/22 to say that he was quitting, and that Wednesday would be his last day. The company owner commented that a 3 day notice was not optimal and that standard is 2 weeks. The response from SK was "no I mean last Wednesday". It was explained to him that was unprofessional and not the proper way to leave on good terms. SK agreed to work an additional day and a half which would end his payperiod on Thursday, 2/28.
He was intstructed to turn in all uniforms and tools and that once they were checked back into inventory that he would be issued his last check. He immediately began emailing and texting me saying he wanted his paycheck 'now'. I have tried to explain several times that the items he returned will be checked back into inventory this Thursday, any adjustments needed for missing or damaged items will be made and his final check will be issued.
We in no way refused to give him his last check. In the end the time betwneen the end of his last pay-week and the issuance of his final check will be 1 week.
