Mr. Williams, aka williamsrace, did purchase a Fluidamper new and own it for 4 years and professed to have removed it from the engine only for cam changes. He also stated that he had to use a puller to remove it from the engine during its final disassembly before being placed on auction. The information you will find in this website will show that Mr. Williams did knowingly place a modified component, the Fluidamper, on auction knowing that he had opened the bore of the damper by grinding it out so that it no longer has an interference fit and does now fit any crank so loosely that it rattles against the crank snout when rattled by hand and can be placed on and removed from the crank by hand and without the use of a dampener puller. This clearance fit will cause fretting and chafing between the components as shown in some of the photos. This freeplay between the shaft and the bore can also lead to additional harmonics as thedamper moves on the crank snout during operation. These photos should provide some information necessary for prospective customers to make informed decisions about bidding on anything that williamsrace has on Ebay.

Mr Williams stated that this was a "great part" but did not disclose that he had previously modified the part nor did he disclose that he had overtorqued the crank pulley to dampener bolts pulling the threads out of the threaded holes. He has stated that he will take the part back and refund my money upon receipt and inspection of the part and he states he will repay the return shipping I will have to pay but he refuses to accept my position that I had already trusted him to send me a good part in the first place and he failed to disclose the truth about the part. At this time I have no reason to believe he is telling the truth about refunding the money. He also has prior history of sending out junk parts as evidenced by his feedback from 396clevor. At this time I have 100% feedback. I offered to return the part as it was delivered to me if he would refund my purchase price and shipping cost along with the return shipping cost but his trust in others has been tarnished or diminished by his own dishonesty and now he is afraid someone is going to treat him as he treats others.
