Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
I own and have lived in a Onyx/Scott Thomas Home for 2-3 years in Houston and do not recommend them to anyone, not even my enemies.
I have a leaky roof, structural issues, and a devalued home because they cut corners, use cheap inexperienced labor/contractors, and sub-standard materials. Most of my neighbors all along our street are moving due to their poor quality and have lost money on out of pocket repairs and the sale price. Onyx/Scott Thomas Home is about equal with KB Homes in bad reputation, unprofessional, give good lip service.
Don't be a victim, stay away from this builder. Learn from my mistake and my neighbors mistakes.

We are terribly sorry to hear of your bad experience. November 13, 2015 will mark the 3rd year in your home.
Our records indicate that you contacted us in May of this year with a water intrusion issue (roof leak). We put you in contact with the roofer, who determined that the flashing was in need of re-caulking. John even took the time to thank us for our help with this out of warranty issue after it was addressed.
We certainly stand by our responsibility to your family. Although the one and two year warranty periods have expired, the balance of your ten year structural warranty is still in place. If you feel that Bonded Builders Warranty is being unresponsive, please let us know.
