Screaming Ink Tattoo parlor is the dirtiest place in NC. With cases of merca against them (20 in counting). And lots of under age tattooing and piercing. But the NC health departmenant won't shut them down for public safety. Everything in the building violates the conduct of tattoo palors. Such as walls, auto claves, and things of that such. They aren't very good with the customers. One person waited 45 minitues to be laughed at for the tattoo she wanted. There are a few people in there that doesn't have a permint. This place needs to be shut down! But no one is doing anything about it!

As a former employee, I am aware of just how bad this place really is. I was a piercer there and consigned jewelry. First off they have no autoclave. They actually wash their clamps and tubes and "steralize" them in a pot on a hot plate. The cleanliness of the place is terrible. Employees tattoo there regularly with no permit, and even have had infestations of head lice and bed bugs. They keep reptiles, birds and dogs there as pets. The owner/operators are drunks and drug addicts. Trade tattoos for pills and marijuana often. I had no choice to leave there after they refused to pay the water and power bill. They had the power on illegally and and brought in water in gallon jugs. This place is no where you want to go for a good safe tattoo or piercing.
