ShirfDesign Shirf Design Jacob Shirf Design Solutions Unreliable scammer who looks to steal money Toronto Internet

After employing Jacob Shirf of Shirf Design Solutions on Kijiji I was met with some grace, he told me that he was able to take my project on and get it completed within 48-72 hours after we begun. I explained to him my urgency on the project and what I required which he told me wouldn't be an issue at all. After discussing the full extent of my needs and my requirements I told Jacob that I would need an update daily to ensure we were continuing on the right path and that I needed my project fully complete by Friday. He said no problem and priced me at $350 for the initial render and $50 for everything following it.

Unfortunately it didn't go this way instead I received terrible customer service. Jacob and I agreed that a milestone payment plan would be sufficient considering my past experience with designers in this market. The designer sent me 1/8 designs over to confirm that the render was okay, I told Jacob that the design looked great however I require the other 7 as we previously discussed. He then attempted to strong arm me by stating if I do not pay him in full that I would not receive my designs, after explaining my past again and reiterating the fact that we had a milestone payment structure he hung up the phone on me and left me hanging. I recommend caution when dealing with this freelancer as he isn't reliable by any means. As someone who works in this market I find it unfortunate that freelancers still continue to have poor customer service.

It's evident this freelancer is in the market to take peoples money without fully completing their project. It's unfortunate because it's people like this Freelancer who make our market look bad.
