I have seen infomercials by this company on TV for years and years. How is it possible that such an obvious ripoff, with so many negative reports, is still in business?

You are so right. How can they be getting away with an obvious fraud for so long. They apparently have lawyers that find certain loopholes that seem to have gotten them off the hook so far. But what they don't know, is we (the consumers that have been wronged by them) will NOT give up, until something is done. I am also one who was taken advantage of by this company, and are in contact with a lawyer that is VERY interested in building a CLASS ACTION suit. And this lawyer has been gathering people for quite some time now. I have just decided to join the lawsuit myself. There are so many things wrong with how SMC conducts business...it isn't even funny.
SMC, the one thing about fraud, is that you may have a good run with it for a while, and you even think you've found a way to skate the system, but eventually your luck will come to an end. And your company will be taken down. The more people you do this to, the larger our class action group will be.
SMC, we will see you in court!
