Since September of 2007 I have been paying the Capitol One Bank at least $50 per month to pay off my debt. Somehow the Capitol One Bank never told their lawyers that I had been doing this, and now their lawyers want to garnish my wages for the full amount plus attorneys fees when I was already in the process of paying it off. I believe that I have paid off almost 1/2 of the debt that I owed Capitol One Bank. The lawyers want to garnish 1/4 of my earnings on the next 4 paychecks for the next 60 days.
