My Amazon card through synchrony bank is a complete scam!!! I had a large line of credit and because I paid the majority off every month they lowered my line of credit to 100 dollars and customer service a supervisor told me I don’t carry a large enough balance to have a large line of credit. Who has ever heard of a credit card lowering your limit because I make too big of payments and I don’t carry a large enough balance. I don’t need a card like this and I cancelled it. WHAT A SCAM!!!

Not a scam

AUTHOR: Robert - (United States)

A Credit Card company deciding to lower the amount of THEIR money they are willing to allow you to borrow is not fraud or a scam. It's their money and they get to decide who they will give this privilege to and how much they are willing to risk.

Them lowering your limit to $100 is a good indication that to them you have some risk factors they don't like.  By the way when you applied for the card you agreed to the terms and conditions which states that they have the right to raise, lower or even close out your account at any time and for any reason.
