After spending $2500 for Tax Relief Network to help us lower our back taxes we were still levied.

We had to threaten them to call us when we got IRS notices. They had a power of attorney and IRS still called us.

The revenue officer on our case was unresponsive and while he said he was helping our penalties and interest continued to grow.

Totally a rip-off and we have had to seek other assistance to prevent our house from being taken since IRS has levied everything else.

IRS not cooperative

AUTHOR: Joshua - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 28, 2006

As the client had said in his statement, the RO or Revenue Officer was unresponsive to our calls and/or letters. The IRS has standard operating procedures as well as does most companies, the RO is the one that issues the levy, and is the only one that can remove it. The case had been assigned to a different RO that was unable to release the levy issued by the former RO. We are still adamantly working on the situation.

We are not the IRS or have any affiliation with the IRS and are not able to release any levy ourselves. We negotiate on the clients behalf enforcing laws and regulations and your rights.
