My contact at The Credit Exchange was Micheal Maravelias who to us the cost was $99.00 to get in there credit program. And $273.95 would be paid to our creditors. Will it turned out the full amount went to A Better Way Credit Counseling in Florida the main company that Mr. Marvelias is an agent for. Our creditors were not paid one cent out of the $372.95 we sent them.

actually used this company's services?

AUTHOR: Tom - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 22, 2009

I've been doing some looking around for help with my debt and ran across this site. The posts above are all from 2004 Looks like it's been almost 4 years and these guys are still in business and the person I talked to sounded pretty straight forward etc. Lots of mudslinging going on here so I don't know what to believe. I still haven't made my mind up yet on who I'm going to go with and am wondering if anybody has actually used this company's services? If so it would be helpful to know how it's going etc. thx

Still Employed Timmy Boy?

AUTHOR: S.n. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 05, 2004

FYI, Tim, this "he" is a "she". So much for your real man theory. And I am not an ex-employee. I highly doubt I will ever be that desparate for a paycheck.

Secondly, I have no need of a company such as yours and if I should happen to need such a company in the future, yours would definitely be out of the running. Any company that would employ someone like you can't have much going for it. I take it you have never read your company's mission statment before? Entertaining isn't it.

Again, FYI, not only is my phone number registered on the No Call List, I have a blocker to stop those pesky little creeps that pay no attention to the No Call rules. You know the type: they don't understand that their existence is being paid for by the public and continue to show their bad side in order to lose business for their company.

Pat is a RE_RE

AUTHOR: Chris - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 04, 2004

Pat is about the most ignorant person you could ever meet. Anyways, everything he says on here is ignorant because he has no idea how finances work in the real world. He is so convinced that the credit exchange is a legitimate job, it's not, he is just so brainwashed and such a liar that he believes he will actually move up in the world working in a boiler room. The credit exchange is dishonest and there are a bunch of scumbags working there, mainly Pat(Tim)Daniels who no one knows for sure what his real name is. Anyways if you want to straighten this kid out you should call him @ 714-235-8791. Tim learn some respect for your elders SON.

Hey S.N.

AUTHOR: Tim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, September 30, 2004

To the man calling himself S.N.-
For the record you should not have logged yourself as S.N. or an ex-employee. A real man would have put his own name. Also call us and have some one explain the program to you then you will see that you negated your own statements by doing the bright thing of copying the mission statement into the body of your response. I think I might have put your phone number up for sale as well for telemarketing calls.
Stay away from morons like S.N.
And remember i am impregnable.

TOTAL SCAM currently been reported to the SEC and is under investigation.

AUTHOR: CHEST - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 28, 2004

This company is a total f**king scam, they "forget" to tell you debt consolidation shows up as chapter 7 bankruptcy on your credit report. They also "forget" to mention you'll never get approved for anything. They also tell you there is a re-aging benefit, when you make your first payment it doesn't go to the creditors it goes to the credit exchange, but they say you fall behind a month but your accounts get re aged. Never happens, call any credit company they'll tell you the same. The company is littered with retards, some of the employees are even intoxicated while on the phone with customers. Their top exec has a mean crack habit. Any credit counseling company or debt consolidation is a ripoff. This company is currently been reported to the SEC and is under investigation.

So, Patrick, Are You Saying Your Company's Website Is A Lie?

AUTHOR: S.n. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 28, 2004

I decided to look up the website after reading your rude and inconsiderate remarks. I found the following under Mission Statement:

The mission of The Credit Exchange is to provide its customers with quality referrals to companies that can assist those clients in improving their financial condition and creating a disciplined plan to achieve financial security.

Our objective is to serve as a referral service to broker a variety of financial services to customers. We shall strive to bring the best possible companies to the table offering financial services that share the same ethics and commitment to professional excellence that we do.

Purpose:
To make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families by offering referrals to companies that provide services to minimize their financial problems by offering effective solutions.

The Business:
To provide referrals to companies that provide a wide range of financial services for the purpose of debt reduction and savings programs designed to build financial security.

Values:
The Credit Exchange will operate with the highest degree of integrity, ethics, and professionalism and always put its customers' needs at the forefront of its priorities.

Hmmm, I don't read anything about ripping people off. I don't see anything that encourages unprofessional behavior by any associate of this company. I see you have an application for new clients to fill out.

You are telling us that you don't give these clients a signed contract? That you "call them and record everything". Is that correct? Is that so you can splice the recording and take advantage of people?

I would advise anyone reading this rip-off report to stay away from companies that would hire an imbecile such as Patrick.
