Yes, I would like for you to file your complaints against Erick Mitchell Residential Leasing Program(EMPG) with the Deceptive Business Practices Unit, Consumer Protection Division, Maryland Attorney Gerneral's Office, 200 Saint Paul Place, Baltimore, MD.  21202.   Or you can file on line at www.oag.state.md.us/consumer/complaint.htm; If we join forces to show Mr. Erinn Daniels and Mr. Eric Mitchell that we will not accept them frauding us out of our money then this might not happen to anyone else.  I have filed suit and they are investigating I think they have a good possiblity of getting my money returned they informed me they will do all they can to stop this practice and get this company to return my money.  Hope this helps anyone else that they have taken money from and not returned.

 Ok, I want to be clear about this, Yes they ripped off $700 of my money.  Let me tell the entire story I did everything that they asked and complied with the money gram process.  I sent them my money and kept my receipt, they did not send the money to the complex, I believed them they were approved on the first apartment and I trusted them so they asked me to give the complex the deposit and that they would send my money directly back to me this never happen.  When it was time to renew they sent me a nasty letter demanding that I send them a renewal fee, when I said no that they had $400 of my money they decided to let me buy out of my lease...ok I was able to pay money directly to the complex and they signed the lease.  I stayed there until I was relocated to a new state and city.  I took a chance a decided to use them again because I had filed bankruptcy and was afraid I would be denied.  They told me that they had been cleared for the new apartment and that they would take my $200 deposit that they owned me for returning the previous apartment to to complex in excellent condition off of the charge for the new apartment in Florida so that left me owing them a balance of $500 which they took out of my Visa account.  Never did they tell me that their credit was denied.  I continued to wait and finally I called the complex to find out that they were denied.  When I called Mr Erinn Daniels he assured me that he didn't know that they had been denied.  I told him you took my money, that is fraud, he assured me that he was sorry and that they were going to give me my $700 back immediately.  I applied for the apartment with my own credit and was approved.  I have been waiting for almost a year to get my money back.  This spineless company will not return calls and will not return emails.  They sent me an email stating that I needed to be home to accept the next day express mail letter with my money in it or it would be returned to them.  This went on for weeks, Mr Daniels and Mr Mitchell are both liars and they never had any intension of returning my money.  After investigating this company I found out that I'm not the only one they have done this too.   They change there EIN# and must have not realized that they had used that number before and they were denied.  They go from state to state misleading the apartment complex.  When you leave you will be done paid Residential leasing a termination fee which they are to pay to the apartment complex and they don't.  They fraud the apartment complex so they can't get another apartment in that city.  That is the reason they were denied in Jacksonville because they owe another complex here.  The complex where I moved from in Farmington Hills, MI is suing them for not paying off the complex the monies owed that they I paid to Mr Daniels and his company to terminate the lease.  They kept the money and didn't give them there money either.  If you don't believe me then you can call the complex yourself for reference.  The Citation Club apartments in Farmington Hills, MI.  Residential Leasing by Mr. Erick Mitchell and Mr. Erinn Daniels is a rip off company.  All I want is my money returned to me they were not able to lease the apartment and they lied and got my money by fraud.  Yes I want to join in on the Post Board to bring this company down.  Mr. Erinn Daniels is the biggest liar I have ever met and hope not to meet anyone else like him.  DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND DON'T CARE.

 It has been 9 months since this company was to refund my $700 which they collected off of my Visa Card and a $200 security deposit that was to be return to me once I left the apartment in good standings which I did.  I also dealt with Erinn Daniels they at first promised I should get my money back immediately and that it was in the mail.  It never showed up.  I am still waiting and like this person said they won't even respond back to you.  They are all friendly until they get your money.  Come to find out they change their business EIN number so that they can get credit, but somewhere along the way they got caught up and was denied.  I was able to get may apartment without their help/.  They promised to return my money and to this day they haven't.  Won't return calls or emails so they have left me with no choice but to persue them in court.  This is fraud in the worst way.  Nobody has money to just give anyway.  Please do not give these people your money because they will not return it.  They are the worst kind of rip off artist they pray on the poor and weak.  All I want is what is rightfully mine.

How the hell does a company product work for the both of you for FOUR YEARS and all of a sudden you taking them to court? I read the site, the program is for a ONE YEAR LEASE, and y'all got FOUR! I can't stand to lose any money. So did the program work or not? Did you pay your rent? How did you screw it up? AND why the hell was you still using this program after four years! Did you fix your credit during that time? Thanx to these post I won't pay a dime until Im assured of an apartment. But trust me I won't take this ride for no longer than two years tops. Four years, hah! 

Yeah I kinda agree..this person seems just angry. I hate Internet gripe sites that just promote argument. They gave you for years, and you still mad. But if they owed me money and didn't get it, I'd be upset too. I guess the real question is, do they really owe him money? There are two side to every argument. Why would they give you four years, then keep your money. Im working with them now to get moved in. i read your post and all i hear is it worked for you for one year four times over. I plan on not needing them and moving just after one year in this program. there are payments i made that i know i wont get back. Or are you screaming for money that wasn't to come back. If you have a court case out on them. Please posts how it turns out.

You seem a little suspect to me, not sure why you don't understand...what have written is plain and simple....I am owed a refund totaling $1250, have not received a refund...Honestly it should not take this long.  I recently received money from an investment last week..filled application 1week prior, and received money the following week.   I have even emailed Mr Mitchell himself asking when i wouldreceive my refund.  I was very honest in the email stating my upset w/his company and what plans are( court preceding) if i don't hear from him....will i then got an email...accusing me of bullying this is not in my character at all.   So if you don't see a problem with this...i'm highly suspect of you and who you are.

It just sounds like alot of missing details to me.. Im not calling this company "Angels" but they are not a scam.. I have to admit, it didnt feel right but I researched them deeply before participating and moved slow. It worked, I live where I live and I make sure I pay my rent. I dont see where it could go wrong unless I make a mistake. These guys dont even call until its time to pay or renew again.. I like that, Makes me feel like im in complete control of my occupancy.. I really hope you get your money back tho.. I have to say I beleive you will...

I'm very glad that you've had success w/ this company...yes i did use them for 4years i never had problems i was a good tennant.  However, i tried to use this company to obtain resident in a new apartment complex, i was that there would not be a problem...sent my $750 via google pay...then found out that they were denied...i actually got into the apartment complex on my own...i was promised that the $750 would be refunded to me in addition, once i left the apartment complex i would also be refunded the lease deposit.  It has been 2 months and no refund.  How would you feel if someone promised refund and nothing...i have decided and have filed court action against Eric Mitchell Publishing group for non payment of refund due to me... i don't know what others issues w/the company, regardless they owe me money and at this point are refusing to pay.

If you have your apartment from them for four years, how did you get ripped off. I know these guys and yest its about money with them. I lived in my place for 3 years and are signing my 4th lease this December... What money back? I also have a friend who referred me to them and their account did go bust. .. Partly because my friend had in mind his own ideas as to how he would follow their process. These guys are strict and I understand. I hate people who bash company's just because their upset and didnt get their way. I see to reports here, Im one of about 3000 people that is a success story with this company. I have had issues with contacting them though, Man they need help answering their phones... So far so good for me.. Ill be sure to keep an eye out though.. Thanks for posting..

I absolutlely hate when consumer are ripped off by companies.  I'm having the same issue w/Eric Mitchell Publishing Group.  I have used them for 4years, haven't had any issues until i asked for my money back. I am moving to a new apartment complex was thinking of using them again. but they were denied approval, so i eventually got approved myself.  I paid over ($700  not including my deposit and app fee). if have filed a complaint w/bbb.org and ftc.org and also state's atty geneneral office.  I will also be filling a small claims lawsuit against the company. I too will not stop until i bring them DOWN!!
