I made a $500.00 deposit for a vacation. I was totally scammed and my money is gone with no vacation. I received a confirmation and vacation certificate which made me believe that it was legitimate.

I was scammed by The Gold Travel as well and want to purse this so that I will not be responsible for the payment to AmEx. I was called stating AmEx Travel endorsed them and was offered 3 great vacations and 6 years to book. I soon felt this was a scam and attempted to dispute the charge, however I was unsuccessful. So I thought I was stuck with it and tried to schedule a trip and discovered the emails and phone numbers did not work. I have no idea how to reach them and wondered the fastest route to get reimbursed? I imagine I need an attorney- or can I get support from Attorney General? No idea how to do this... frustrated but determined not to pay. Maureen
