I bought a kit and was told on the phone that the study guide I had bought would help me pass the exam and get a job with the postal service. They charged my account almost $130.00 and now that I have recieved the kit the phone numbers don't work, nor the web site doesn't work. I want my money back and need help.

I am so sorry to hear about your recent trouble with our phone numbers and website. We regret your inconveniences, but our service and our website is not a scam. Just as thousands of people across the nation purchase study guides for the SAT, GRE, LSAT and other tests, Exam Services provides a study guide for the US Postal Services' Postal Battery Exam. As explained to you when you initially spoke to our customer service representatives, we offer an array of study materials that goes beyond the basic booklet that the USPS offers. Our study guide is over 340-pages of study questions and practice tests. Along with the study guide, we also offer a downloadable 200-page career workbook to help you map out the steps to obtaining a job with the USPS, as well as many other useful resources.

The correct website is www.usworkalliance.com. This site is functional and secured for the privacy and protection of the consumers. It is subject to occasional down times for maintenance and updates, but these are limited. This site is a tool to assist with finding postal openings in specific areas but the actual acceptance of an individual and the notification of a testing location is dependent on the US Post Office, who handles all exams. Exam Services does offer a customer support group that will assist an individual as much as possible, but we of course are not able to speed up the post office. Our customer support hot line is 800-584-1859.

We offer refunds under certain conditions, all aimed at helping our clients in the long run. We offer refunds to clients if: 1) they do not pass the exam, 2) if they pass the exam and are called in for an interview and don't get offered the job, 3) if they pass the exam and are called in for an interview and are offered the job and they accept it and complete one full week of work, 4) if a client does not have the opportunity to take an exam in their area for one year. If you feel you meet one of these requirements call us for a refund, our customer service hotline is 800-584-1859.

These sites are a scam

There is no legitimate 'study guide' for a civil service exam. If you didn't pay with a credit card, then you're out of luck. If you paid with a CC, then dispute the charge with your credit card/debit card. You will be able to recoup your loss.
