I received a call and paid $99 for a background check and gave my personal information for the background check.  I was told the company worked with banks to repair properties.  It mirrored what contractors that I know do for banks right down to how the supplies go and billing works.  I believed it but when It was time for the leads none came through and then the follow up stopped.  The phones didnt sound professional so I had a bad feeling.  I googled and found them on scam lists.  I am not worried who has my checking account information, and my social and date of birth.  I now feel this was a scam.
