I recently paid an outrageous amount of money to attend the Connections Convention held in NYC at the Roosevelt Hotel. I was told there would dozens of talent and modeling scouts present. This was not the case. DO NOT waste your money. This woman is a total scam. She used to run a agency in Buffalo, NY and scammed people there. Stay clear away from Connections.

Connections Success Story

I would like to echo the other rebuttals. We went to the Convention, and my daughter got to do open calls with at least 20 different agents who had also viewed her performance throughout the week. The cost of the Connections convention, which was all inclusive of the training, entry fees, and photo shoot, was half (or less) that of another Convention my daughter was offered to attend that year. We had a blast at the Convention, and my daughter walked away with a contract from a boutique child modeling agency in NYC. She has since been on many castings / auditions with about an 18% booking ratio (very good by industry standards), and has become a regular child model for Kenneth Cole, all thanks to Connections. I'm sorry that whoever posted this did not have a good experience at Connections, but the accusations are just not true.

Pat Wright 's Connections Modeling Convention is a fantastic opportunity for models and actors of all ages. Approximately 90% of the models/actors i bring to Connections are offered contracts with top agencies. without the convention it would be impossible to have as much performance time in front of the top modeling companies. It is up to the local director to prepare their models for the convention. the agents love Pat wright and they attend all the events. WASTE OF MONEY. your alternative would be to get on a plane and fly to miami, ny, la, charlotte, europe, and the far east to attend go sees for these agencies. the modeling industry is run by professionals that know what they are looking for. bitter model wannabees that say well im 5'8 not 5'9but i should be a model don't get it. agencies choose who they want. no amount of wanting, desire, dreaming, or crying changes that. it is THEIR decision. Pat puts you directly in front of these decision makers.

This is in response to the last comment. How can you say that agents to do support conventions when they clearly attend them. They are on video, in pictures at conventions. Your statement is clearly incorrect.

If you do your research, you will find that legitimate modeling agencies do not support modeling conventions. It's unfortunate that there are so many scams around. Just use your head people.

I am not sure what convention you attended but I saw over 20 agents and a couple of people that I went with already received calls from agents.
You should be very careful posting false information. You can even see they have an outstanding rating on the BBB.
Are you bitter because you did not do well???
