ZPDI - Teleconnect ripoff fraudulant dishonest billing Illinois

I recieved my phone bill in the mail and i opened it up to look through, i noticed that in the section of lo ng distance there was a page marked "other providers" so i took a look to find that there were 2 calls made from a local phone number but i was being charged as collect calls,the number was not a payphone, cell phone or other,it was in fact,a local phone number, when i noticed that both calls were for 3 minutes each but the charge was $26.26! I was shocked that i was being charged for that amount, so i called my local phone company and asked them about the number i was being charged for, it turned out that the number was a non existant number, which meant it was not a business or residential number.

I tried the number myself only to find it was either a fax machine or a dial up modem number!Now first of all i nor would anyone else in my home accept a collect call from a dial up modem and concidering the time these calls took place,noone was even awake! I decided to call ZPDI to inquire about these charges and what do ya know..... I got a recording telling me that they couldnt take my call and i would need to contact them via email.Thats what i did and the response i got back was that they were not an operator service and only work on behalf of Custom Teleconnect and they would be crediting my bill $23.32 but i must wait 2 to 3 billing periods to get this credit. Okay, now i've had it, they won't talk to me by phone and then they refuse to remove a bogus charge off my bill?

My local phone company has agreed to take it off, but now i see with ZPDI aka: Custom Teleconnect i am going to have to take further legal action. Beware people if you recieve your Phone bills by mail make sure you check it over completly before making a payment to see that this type of thing donesn't happen to you.
