In Oct of 05 I answered an ad in the Cookeville paper for a job. It turned out to be selling Rainbows. I would like to point out Rexair the Parent company of Rainbow did not have anything to do with this. Bryan Loveday and Angie Loveday at the time Living in Cookeville have now moved to Nashville. I bought a Rainbow on his word that at 30 demo's it would be paid for after my first sell after the 30. He also told me he would pay my first two payments. Unknown to me in Oct he was in talks to leave L.T. Barry of Hendersonville and goto Hycyte to sell Ocean Blue.

On the first of March he closed down his office and moved to Nashville. In the process he skipped out on his Lease, and broke over about $10,000 worth of promises. In the program that Rexair set out you are not suppose to do demos to the ederly, widows, or the poor. Bryan targeted these people and hounded then till they closed. One widow only recieved $600 a month and he told her every lie to get her to buy, she had the good since to refuse after he hounded herr for about an hour. He stole $1,000 in dollars of equement from 100's of people.

He profess to me to be a Baptist and attend the Freewill Baptist Church in Crossville and he never lied. He swore to "Crist" he was honest. He broke every law on the books to sell his product. In March he moved to Nashville and started selling Ocean Blue's and is doing the same scam there. I do not know the current name of his new company.

If you want all the information you can on him the information data base that the NSA uses is also avaible to the public at choicepoint there ou can trace his entire history of scam's. I called L.T. Barry to see if they would honer the 30 demo deal, at the time Bryan left I had 9 to go. I was told by Lou Barry that they would start me from 5 and i would have to do 25 but drive over 100 miles to Nashville to do I I have filed another report for L.T. Barry for this. Please if you recieve a call from someone selling Ocean Blue do not make an appointment with then, Bryan will lie to you in every way he can to get you to buy. And he hides under the guise of being a Christian to do it. BEWARE of Bryan Loveday.

And I would like to point out that Rexair the parent company of Rainbow has nothing to do with this. Bryan Loveday of at the time Clean Redefined in Cookeville made a deal with me that if I did 30 demos of Rainbows on my first sell ofter the 30 I would get my free, this deal was approved by by L.T. Barry. Bryan Loveday closed his Cookeville office and ran out on all his deals in March of 06. I called L.T.Barry and spoke with Lou and he told me that since Bryan destroyed all his paper work that I would have to do 25 more demos to get my Rainbow free when in fact I had only 9 to go. L.T. Barry failed to honer the aggrement and is as bad as Bryan in this area. Please do not do business with either L.T. Barry or Bryan Loveday, they will take you for all you have and then leave you in the dust.

Bryan Loveday is not the problem, Rexair is

AUTHOR: Amy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, June 22, 2008

After reading the report on bryan loveday i was a bit offended. i know this man personally and have known him for almost 20 years. We have lost touch in the last few years but i would like to share what i do know. bryan has always been a believer in god and always went to church on a regular basis. while we were in college together he began working for rexair, selling rainbow vacuum cleaners. it was a job to get through school and make a little extra money. he was very successful with it. he talked me into working for the company as well. while i lived in bristol, tn and attended college i decided to give it a chance.

i am not a sales person and never will be. however, i do know that he was a natural. i can't recall the name of couple who owned the elizabethton, tn office at the time but i do remember he was very pushy. i also went to one of the rexair "get togethers" in knoxville. i would like to state that the company is ver push. rexair is full of people who are out for their own benefit and do not care who they hurt or run over to get what they want. bryan, if he is so bad, is a product of his training from rexair llc. that is the way i was trained but i couldn't do it because most of the demos were with people i knew from school or family. i could not push them. rexair is a company that has a wonderful product to sale. the rainbow vacuum is an awesome product and speaks for itself. what they train their sales people is to be pushy and almost crude to change their minds. i am not defending what he did but i will say that i disagree 100% with the fact that rexair is not the problem. their sales people are a product of their environment and their training.

#3 Consumer Comment

Don't bad mouth the entire company.

AUTHOR: Juan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 01, 2007

I work with OceanBlue as an Authorized Distributor, and I'm somewhat insulted by your broad based comments.

First of all, (I'll address items 1 by 1) you commented that the OceanBlue is as "junkie as the Rainbow". A completely unfounded comment, simply because you're angry at 1 individual distributor. You can have your opinion, but the OceanBlue is NOT junk. It's a very well made cleaning system that actually works better than any other sytem on the market. I've been in and around the vacuum business for over 30 years, I've seen them all. You sold (or tried to sell) vacs for 4 weeks, and now you're an expert on quality & performance? I think not.

Second, you say... "It is interesting the amount that is charged for such an item". Do you think that a diamond engagement ring is worth $5000.00? $15,000.00? $20,000.00? How about $46,000.00 for new truck? How about $10,000.00 for a special Guitar? How about $200,000.00 for a new house, that 10 years ago could be purchased for $79,000.00. Again, you're entitled to your "angry" opinion, but the price of an item is determined by the market. The market for high quality home cleaning systems is currently $1500.00 to $3500.00.

Third, you say... "Sure the Rainbow and the Ocean Blue do have a better idea to clean but it also creates a health violation, since carpet has toxic waste in it and most people spill toxic items when you dump it out doors as directed it will soon go into the water table, so water cleaners are bad for the Earth)"... I'd like to see some legitimate scientific proof that anything you said here is true. I'd be amazed to see two quarts of water sink so deeply into the earth that it would affect the water table... lol. Are you nuts? And... what is toxic in carpet? If it were toxic, we'd all be dead from living in our homes. I think you're confused. It's toxic if it's burned, just like EVERY other thing in your house. Anything plastic, vinyl, rubber, etc..

Fourth, you say... "it cost right at $200.00 to make, just think of the markup on that. And is charging a profit of $1,800.00 moral? If you buy one of those cleaners the demo person makes on average $200.00 per sale, the guy that he is under makes about $600.00 the next guy up makes about $900.00 this is a pyramid scam under cover"... Oh Really? How do you know what the manufacturing cost of the product is? Are you the president of HyCite Corp. now? Or are you just quoting numbers you've "heard" from other people?

Being an OceanBlue Authorized Distributor, I can assure you your "Pyramid Scam undecover" numbers are completely wrong. It's no different than any other business making a profit. Raw materials are sold to pieces/parts manufactuers. Those companies manufacture and then sell the manufactured pieces/parts to other manufactuers who make products. Those companies then manufacture and sell the manufactured products to Distribution companies. Those companies take the products to market.

This is how ALL mass marketed products sold in the world reach the marketplace. Coke, Pepsi, GM, Ford, Dodge, Proctor & Gamble, Dow Chemical, and on and on and on. Lets look at Ford... They sell their truck to a Ford Dealer... He marks it up so he can pay himself, his salesman, his secretaries, his finance department, his sales manager, insurance, his light bill, his phone bill, his water bill, his trash collection, his property maintenence, lot & landscaping upkeep, his janitorial service, his advertising... shame on him for wanting to make any money huh?

OceanBlue distributors have to make money, they have sales people to pay, mangers to pay, they have rent to pay, office furniture, computers, a phone bill, utility bills, insurance, inventory to stock, paperwork to buy, advertising brochures, fragrences, demo gifts, referrals gifts, demo kits, out of town meetings to attend, not to mention paying all the "new dealers" who come in, who don't work the program, dirty up your equipment, then quit because they're lazy. Then they blame the distributor for their failure instead of looking in the mirror and accepting responsibilty for their own actions.

You obviously don't fall into that category, because you tried to work the program, but unfortunately you ran into a distributor that was struggling and perhaps a poor business man at the time. You got the shaft. It's unfortunate that this happened to you, but don't attack the OceanBlue product just because you happened to run into a jerk. 1 bad Distributor doesn't make the whole company bad. Your comments give a bad impression of the company. With that line of thinking, if you had a bad experience with 1 Ford dealership, you'd think the entire Ford Company was a scam... Am I right?

Fifth, you say "You can get a water cleaning system off of eBay that is just as good and will last just as long for about $200.00 or a little over"... This is COMPLETELY untrue. The $200 vacuum you're referring to is made by Shark, is made in China, is a lightweight piece of crap, with a tiny motor, no power nozzle, cheap soft crappy hoses, 90 day or NO warranty NO COMPARISON. That's like comparing a YUGO to a Rolls Royce. You're being ridiculous here, and confusing customers. Even if you bought a used "Rainbow" on ebay, you have no REAL LEGITIMATE warranty, nor do you know the origin nor the history of the unit you're buying. You're at the mercy of the seller (probably in another state) who sold it.

Finally, you say... "A car is cheaper then these water cleaners. Make wise choices with your money and debt, these systems are not worth the debt and most of the persons in this business do not honor what they say. Please think before getting involved with Bryan Loveday or and selling of Water Systems.

WHAT??? What car is cheaper? A used piece of crap car maybe. Not worth the debt? Well, some people can't afford to pay cash, so they HAVE to finance. Not everyone is a rich successful genius like you. And... You say "Most of the people involved in this business do not honor what they say???? How the heck would you know? How dare you group over 150 individual distributors in the same category as 1 guy you had a bad experience with? You don't even know us.

If you want MY opinion, based an all your ranting, it sounds to me like there's alot more to this story than your telling... like perhaps YOU weren't completely innocent in the events that unfolded during your ENORMOUS 4 week experience in the vac industry. Maybe you should get a job at Kmart... You'll get a steady paycheck of about $300 a week, you'll make some cool new friends, and you'll be able to go home every night and whine your mom how mean the manager was that day. Good Luck.

Never Honored After All

AUTHOR: Gregory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, May 26, 2007

They did call, we did talk, but they never kept their word. Many people in sales try to make an honest living, if a customer says no they honor that answer. And if persons are hired the company stands by it's policies.

Bryan Ray Loveday never honored his agreement to let me make up those sales to get the Rainbow free. Looking over his career he moves from place to place. He also never came back to the Upper Cumberland and honored all the promises he made. In fact he still owes many people here in the area thousands in "retail" prices of items he promised. He promised to many persons an "air cleaner" that retailed for over $99.99 but you can buy the exact same thing at Wal-Mart for $14.99. He left the area wanting and never did right by the persons in this area. I was out a lot of money due to him and his scam. I believe he is still in the Nashville area selling the Ocean Blue's, which are just a junkie as the Rainbow.

It is interesting the amount that is charged for such an item. Sure the Rainbow and the Ocean Blue do have a better idea to clean (messier to clean up, that is nasty to wash out after dumping, it also creates a health violation, since carpet has toxic waste in it and most people spill toxic items when you dump it out doors as directed it will soon go into the water table, so water cleaners are bad for the Earth) but the cost is over or at $2,000.00, and it cost right at $200.00 to make, just think of the markup on that. And is charging a profit of $1,800.00 moral? If you buy one of those cleaners the demo person makes on average $200.00 per sale, the guy that he is under makes about $600.00 the next guy up makes about $900.00 this is a pyramid scam under cover.

Think this over before you are presented with the option to buy, you will be paying for this for 3 years, regardless if it is suppose to last 20 the kids may use it to clean out the toilet or the husband may use it to suck up the oil spill, things happen and you are still paying for it. You can get a water cleaning system off of eBay that is just as good and will last just as long for about $200.00 or a little over.

And if you are approached by Bryan Loveday to sell these water systems and he makes many promises get them in print (he will not sign no matter what) if he refuses to sign RUN. And keep in mind when you visit that lady that has settled into her golden years on her husbands pension and makes just under $500.00 a month Bryan will do everything he can to get you to sell her a water system, I was even told to suggest cutting back on the food budget.

These folks have to make a choice between food and medicine all ready why should they have to add a payment to that. And is it morally right to drag someone into long term debt for a vacuum? A car is cheaper then these water cleaners. Make wise choices with your money and debt, these systems are not worth the debt and most of the persons in this business do not honor what they say. Please think before getting involved with Bryan Loveday or and selling of Water Systems.

Everyone is Happy-Redemption

AUTHOR: Gregory - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 04, 2006

Today Angie called me and her talked for a long time. Angie is Bryan's wife. Bryan and Angie and I got along great during my time with them in Cookeville and when she read this it upset her a great deal due mostly to the fact that we had gotten close and I had hurt her feelings. After speaking with her it was explained to me that what L.T. Barry told me was untrue. Bryan and Angie Loveday did not skip out on Cookeville but L.T. Barry shut them down.

Bryan and Angie had planned to move their business to Nashville but only after taking care of all the customers here and those they had made deals with. But when L.T. Barry pulled the rug out from under them they had no choice but to speed matters up. Currently they are doing all they can to get their lives back together after what was done to them and have kept records of all their customers here in the Upper Cumberland and are going to make amends to honor all the gift programs they did. They may not be able to get the exact gifts due to L.T. Barry but they plan to get equal or better gifts. As for the agreement made with me about the first two payments.

Since L.T. Barry closed them down their funds were short and Bryan had to put food in his kids mouth first. Although he did not make this known to me at the time (It is hard for a father to let people know personal things about the family mostly in the area of money) I have now become aware of it and understand why he was unable to honor the agreement at the time, he had to put his family first.

Angie told me that once they get back on their feet they will make up the two payments. I really had no idea that money was so tight for them at the time. Bryan and Angie are also going to honor the 30 demo agreement. I have 9 to go then sell one. Although they are in Nashville now they are not going to make it hard on me to complete this. I will have to make one trip there to get updated training but after that they are going to meet me half way with the product. As far as the case with the widow.

At the time I was relaying information to Bryan he was caught up in something else and his attention was split thus he was multitasking and his mind was not fully on what I was relaying. As for the paying of payments to those who he said he would L.T. Barry withheld those payments from Bryan's check to forward to the finance company, therefore if a payment was not made it would fall upon them not Bryan.

Since Bryan and Angie had their liveley hood ripped out from under them without warning it has been hard on them to get things going again. I asked why she had not called me till now. She had a valid point, there was a company meeting before the planed move and I was unable to attend due to things beyond my control. Bryan and Angie were under the impression that I had backed out.

As far as not calling those in the gift program to let them know. I now understand why they have not. Some people would not quite understand the struggle Bryan and Angie are currently under and pressure then to more faster then they are able. Angie told me that they will wait to contact them till they are ready to deliver because they do not want to say something like in a few weeks and something come up. This way it will be a great surprise and blessing when the gifts are delivered. I really was unaware of all of this and relyed upon what I was told by another person as to what they were suppose to have done.

After finding out all the details I want to stand corrected on this matter and more importantly extend a public apology to Bryan and Angie Loveday as well as their children. So if you have been approched to become a dealer for Bryan or to see a demo, please go ahead, he will carry out his agreement. Just one suggestion and this in no way implies anything to Bryan but it is common since, get it in writting. It seems that most of this has been a big misunderstanding, if it had been in writting then we could refer back to it and clearly know the details. So if you make an agreement with anyone about anything, get it on paper. Again Bryan and Angie I am sorry.
