Business Media Publications is the same company as Schofield Media - they changed their name due to bad publicity.  They are also Mayfair Business Media, as well as a number of other companies such as Redcoat Publishing, Ideal Media Group, etc.

What they do is this: they have almost 100 people who call up companies all day to say that they want to write an article on them.  After they get past all the "gatekeepers" they talk the CEO into allowing an article to be written.  The catch is after the CEO gets all excited, they simply ask for a list of vendors who they then pass to their sales team.  The sales team then calls them relentlessly to buy ads in a magazine with (usually) zero paid circulation.  Once the vendors buy the pointless ads (no one reads the magazine except the list of subscribers who get it for free - usually cause an article was written about them), BMP pockets the money and publishes the mag.  They then have their sales team chase down the vendors and the original company to buy reprints, furthering their scheme.  It's a total waste of money for anyone unfortunate enough to buy an ad.

They keep changing their name in an effort to get rid of all the bad publicity.  It's ridiculous.  The employees are almost all underpaid, and the staff that do work very hard get fired/laid off while the slackers stay.  Promotions the past 3 years have been without raises, as the company is struggling.  Stay far away from this company, as an employee, or potential victim.  Do NOT let them write an article on you or your company, or you'll regret it.  Google Schofield Media Ripoff and Schofield Media Scam and you'll see what I mean.
